Michelle’s Easy Adaptable Pizza Recipe

This pizza includes 1 cup of wheat flour, which you can omit if you’d like but I find it helps make the meal less of a “carb crash” and it tastes delicious

This pizza dough is so quick and easy! Perfect for Friday pizza night.

Variations:

  • Substitute out the wheat flour for all purpose flour
  • Make the night before and refrigerate (reduce yeast to 1 tsp)
  • Freeze this dough or bulk meal prep!

Recipe:

– 1 c wheat flour

– 2 c water

– 2 tbsp yeast

– 1 tbsp sugar

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 4 c flour

– 1.5 tsp salt

– more olive oil and your pizza toppings!

Knead together your dough in a bowl until it just comes together in a ball. If it seems dry, add a bit more olive oil.

Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled.

Shape your pizzas, add toppings, and bake at 425F. If you’re using a cookie tray for the pizza I recommend lining it with parchment paper or a generous amount of olive oil to prevent sticking.

Let me know if you try this, and come back for more!
